Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
The short version
Girl Math Lab collects the minimum we need to run a newsletter and deliver playbooks: your email address, given voluntarily. We use privacy-friendly analytics that set no cookies. We never sell your data.
What we collect and why
- Email address — when you request the free guide and subscribe to the newsletter. Used to deliver the guide, send the free welcome series, and send the weekly letter you opted into. Processed by Kit (kit.com), our email service provider; their processing is governed by their own privacy policy.
- Signup context — the page that referred your signup, stored with your subscriber record so we can understand which free content is useful.
- Aggregate analytics — we use Plausible, a privacy-friendly analytics tool that uses no cookies and stores no personal data or cross-site identifiers. We see page counts and referrers, not you.
What we do not do
- No selling or renting of personal data, to anyone, ever.
- No advertising trackers or cross-site cookies.
- No purchase of third-party email lists.
Email practices
Subscriptions are double opt-in. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored immediately. Unsubscribing removes you from all future sends.
Data retention and your rights
We keep your email while you remain subscribed. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by replying to any of our emails or contacting privacy@girlmathlab.com. Deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
Embedded content
Video pages embed YouTube players in click-to-load, privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com) — YouTube receives no data from you unless you press play.
