What's inside

Eight sections, one system

Each section teaches one idea, hands you the worksheet, and shows a worked example — then the 30-day reset installs the whole thing at a humane pace.

S1

Current Reality

Your monthly snapshot, without judgment — eight lines, one month, no grades.

S2

Build a Pay-Cycle Map

Every bill assigned to the specific paycheck that covers it, so no single payday gets crushed.

S3

Find True Expenses

The costs that only look surprising — named, dated, and divided into calm monthly amounts.

S4

Create Sinking Funds

Small piles with names and due dates, dripped per paycheck with one honest formula.

S5

Guilt-Free Spending Boundaries

A weekly number you don't have to earn, a waiting rule for big maybes, and a social line you're allowed to hold.

S6

Debt & Savings Decisions

Snowball vs avalanche and buffer-vs-debt, compared calmly — no universal winner, no lecture.

S7

Spending Friction

Make autopilot spending mildly inconvenient and the good moves automatic. Pick three, only three.

S8

The 30-Day Reset

Four weeks to install the system — one focus per week and a ten-minute Sunday ritual.

Interior spread: the monthly snapshot worksheet next to its worked example
Interior teaching page: why a monthly budget can look fine while one paycheck is overloaded

Every worksheet ships with a clearly-labeled fictional example — you always see what "finished" looks like before you fill anything.

Who it's for
  • You found your patterns (audit or instinct) and want the structure on paper.
  • Your paychecks and bills never quite line up, and it always feels like your fault. (It isn't.)
  • You've quit budgets before — because they were built on shame and averages.
  • You want fun spending protected, not eliminated.
Who it's NOT for
  • If you're in a genuine debt crisis or facing collections, a workbook is the wrong tool — a nonprofit credit counselor is a better next step, and the workbook says so in plain terms too.
  • If you want investing picks or "get rich" tactics, that's a different shelf.
  • If you're hoping for a promised dollar amount saved — this book promises a calmer system, not a number. Anyone promising a number is guessing.

Questions, answered
Is the PDF actually fillable?

Yes — every worksheet line, checkbox, and journal box is a real PDF form field. Type in any app that supports PDF forms (Preview, Acrobat, most tablet PDF apps), save, come back later. A printer-friendly version is included for pen people.

Do I need Excel for the spreadsheet?

No. The companion is a standard .xlsx that imports cleanly into Google Sheets (free) and also works in Excel and Numbers. Every formula is visible and editable — nothing is locked or hidden.

Is this the free guide again, but paid?

No. The Money Pattern Lab (free) helps you find your patterns. This workbook builds the system that handles them: the pay-cycle map, sinking funds, boundaries, and the 30-day install. The free guide's content isn't repeated here.

How much time does it take?

About two hours of setup spread across the first week, then the 30-day reset runs on roughly ten minutes a week. Sections are skippable and nothing breaks if life interrupts.

What happens after I pay?

Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record). The download email with all three files arrives within a couple of minutes, and your receipt link re-downloads the latest version anytime.

What if it's not for me?

Email support@girlmathlab.com within 14 days for a refund — no questions, no essay required.
